Medina-Summit Land Conservancy Addresses Community Issues

Would you like to know more about local conservation policies, how to protect land in your community from extensive development, or incentives for preserving your own private property?

Join your fellow community members at Rustic Hills Country Club from 7:30 - 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, May 16 for the next installment of the Community Speaker Series when Jeff Holland, trustee of the Medina-Summit Land Conservancy, will present and discuss issues surrounding land conservation efforts in Medina and Summit Counties.  Enjoy a fabulous buffet breakfast with friends and colleagues, while you contribute to your changing community during this town hall-style meeting.

Jeff Holland is a partner in the law firm Holland & Muirden, a co-founder of the Medina County Land Conservancy and trustee for the Medina-Summit Land Conservancy and Ohio League of Conservation Voters.  Come together for this discussion about preserving our rural heritage in Medina County and you will be introduced to techniques for preserving natural land, open space and farmland in our developing communities, including tax benefits for private land conservation.

Sponsored by the Executive Club at Rustic Hills, the Community Speaker Series is open to the public.  Tickets for this installment of the Community Speaker Series are $12 each and include breakfast.  Tables of 6 may also be purchased for $60.  Tickets may be reserved in advance when you contact Joanne Woodson at Rustic Hills Country & Executive Club by phone at (330) 725-4281 or by email at rustichillscc@hotmail.com.   The deadline for reserving tickets is May 14.  Cash and check payment will be accepted at the door the day of the event or you may be invoiced upon request.   Rustic Hills Country & Executive Club is located at 5399 River Styx Road, off of Route 18 near I-71 in Medina.
