last ten years, the population of Medina County has increased by 29,000 people. The
population of Summit County is once again on the rise, following a 20-year decline.
From 1990 to 2000, Summit County's population increased by 28,000 people.

| Currently, Summit County is 58% developed. Most of the recent development has occurred in Bath and Copley townships, Sagamore Hills, Twinsburg, Franklin township and Richfield. Medina has experienced most growth in Medina, Spencer, and Montville townships, and Chippewa-on-the-Lake, followed by Granger, Sharon and Litchfield townships. | ![]() |
