What can the Conservancy do for you?

1.  Tax Benefits: By donating property, or a conservation easement, to the Conservancy, you may receive substantial income tax, estate tax and property tax benefits, while continuing to enjoy the natural beauty and privacy of your land.

2.  Own Your Land and Preserve It Too: With a conservation easement, you can continue to use your property, sell it, or pass it on to your heirs through your will, and rest assured that it will always be preserved. Certain conditions will be attached to your gift to ensure that your land will always be used and maintained in a manner consistent with your wishes. For instance, you may or may not wish to allow members of the public to hike on your land. You may want to stop trees from being cut, or you may want your land to remain in agricultural use. The options are endless.
